The 10 km long circular trail begins and ends in a small place with three different names: Svetvinčenat, Savičenta and San Vincenti. They all have origins in the name of the patron saint, the Hispanic martyr St. Vincent, after whom one of the five churches in the town is called. The charming little renaissance town offers a number of facilities in an attractive historic space, which has often been used as a backdrop for films. It is adorned by the Placa, a square of particularly harmonious proportions, along which northern side stretches the stone Morosini-Grimani Castle, the best preserved castle on the Istrian peninsula and the largest building in Svetvinčenat, which has been the symbol of this place for centuries.
